Third-party, continuous
Data from orbit, not from the contractor, the client or the insurer. A new look every 6 days, day or night, through clouds. Nothing installed on site.
Progetti · Supported by the European Space Agency
Satellite radar watches the outside of every building, every 6 days, back to 2014. Every observation is certified and sealed: no one can alter it.
Milan Duomo · Radar analysis
600 m² Radar Detection
Sequence mapped: scaffolding installed and extended between 28 Jan and 21 Feb 2025.
The problem
Contractors report, supervisors sample, lenders and insurers send their own inspectors. Each check lasts one day, covers one site, and is never certified or shared.
What BUILD‑IT is
Data from orbit, not from the contractor, the client or the insurer. A new look every 6 days, day or night, through clouds. Nothing installed on site.
The Copernicus radar archive starts in 2014. Check what happened before you were involved, or on the day of a claim.
Every observation is timestamped and sealed in B4F's immutable registry. Nobody, including us, can change it afterwards.
How it works
Radar sends its own signal: no daylight, no clear sky needed. When the outside of a building changes, BUILD‑IT sees it, dates it and certifies it.
Where external works appeared or ended, across the whole area.
Start, pause and end dates, building by building.
Observation dates, evidence and confidence level.
CSV, JSON and GeoPackage for GIS, BI and BIM.
Proof · The Milan Duomo pilot
All of 2025, every building within 1 km of the Duomo, checked against the real renovation works. Reconstructed after the fact from the satellite archive: no sensors, no site access.
Each dot is one building within 1 km of the Duomo.
A verification campaign starts from 531 buildings, not 2,249.
Who it's for
When did the works really start and finish?
An immutable building history back to 2014, to check claims retroactively.
Is the site progressing before the next drawdown?
Certified third-party checks on every financed site, one method.
How do I follow distant projects?
Certified timelines per asset; visits only where data disagrees.
How close is reality to the schedule?
Certified records for permits, as-built files and disputes.
Were the contracted works actually done?
The whole territory, checked against the land registry.
Why BUILD‑IT
| Aspect | Today | With BUILD‑IT |
|---|---|---|
| Source | Declared by the parties | Observed by satellite, independent |
| Integrity | Editable files and reports | Timestamped, sealed, tamper-proof |
| One version | Each party pays its own check | The same record for everyone |
| Frequency | When someone can go | Every 6 days |
| History | Whatever was filed | Back to 2014 |
| Site visits | Everywhere, by default | Only where something changed |
| Set-up on site | Access and equipment | None |
On the roadmap
The satellite is where BUILD‑IT starts. Two optional modules will extend the same certified record.
The inside of the site, recorded by the people already walking it. No drones, no fixed cameras, faces blurred on the vest.
A phone photo from site, cross-checked with the satellite and screened for AI editing before it enters the record.
Give us two or three large sites, open or closed. We reconstruct when external works started, paused and ended, as a certified record.
